Prior to Kipsu, Derek led the sales development team at another Minneapolis-based startup, Perk Health. Outside of work, you'll find him playing racquetball, going to concerts, and following the NBA. We asked Derek to reflect on his time at Kipsu so far.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

The long term vision and mindset that is at the core of the culture

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

Even on the sales team, it's very much a team-success oriented culture which is out of the ordinary for sales teams

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I am excited to see the challenges and changes that come with growing the company from a small team in to a large organization
