Prior to Kipsu, Ty worked in higher education at Austin Peay State University advising student activities. Outside of work, you'll find him spending time with his dog, playing golf, doing house projects, and going out on the lake. We asked Ty to reflect on his first few weeks at Kipsu.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

When I was searching in 2017, Kipsu was on the list of top start-up companies everywhere I Googled. I didn't know much about the company or product but wanted to get in with an upcoming start-up, take my chance and see how it goes.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

I remember that during my first week or so, everyone was immediately super helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure I had a great time here. The team environment is everything.

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

Reducing churn, making more customer advocates/references, improving the overall KPI, and managing a growing team.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value and why?

If you could pick any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

My grandma who passed get to spend a few more hours with her
