Prior to Kipsu, Emily majored in International Management at Gustavus Adolphus College. When not at work work, Emily loves being outdoors as much as possible, exploring cooking, and playing card/board games with friends. We're excited to have her join the Kipsu team and asked Emily to share her experience with Kipsu so far.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

Early on, I could tell Kipsu’s core values aligned very well with my own and I appreciated that during the interview process. They took the time to make sure that Kipsu was the right fit for both of us.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

Everyone is so nice and helpful! There is a really great energy around the office because everyone is excited about the work they do.

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I’m looking forward to rotating through the three teams at Kipsu and the challenges that will come along with that. I’m so excited to learn more about Kipsu as a whole and get to know the members of each team!

What is your favorite Kipsu core value?

My favorite Kipsu core value is Go Beyond Together. It’s so energizing to be around a team that constantly supports each other and strives to reach its goals together.

If you could meet any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

If I could take one person out to dinner, it would be Ed Sheeran. I love his music and from what I hear, it sounds like he is really down to earth.

What made you choose to apply for the Entrepreneurship Leadership Rotation Program?

I applied for the Rotation Program because I wanted the chance to explore different skills and interests by rotating through Kipsu’s teams, while also gaining a holistic perspective of the company.
