Prior to joining Kipsu, Abby worked accounting for a Property Management company and spent time in luxury hospitality. Outside of work, you'll find Abby spending time with her one year old and spending time outdoors walking, biking, camping, swimming, and cooking/baking. We asked Abby to reflect on her time at Kipsu so far.
I loved that they were values driven and very careful about protecting company culture. I also really felt that I would be empowered working for Kipsu. But honestly what sealed the deal for me was that I interviewed with someone who had been furloughed during peak Covid and they could not have been more complimentary about the company and how hard her teammates worked to get her back to work. I thought that if someone was still so passionate about the place after going through that then it must be a really great place to work!
Kipsuvians like to celebrate each other and really do enjoy working together!
I have loved getting right down to it with Kipsu! I am looking forward to growing processes as the business grows and tackling the challenges that come along with fast growth, both helping to plan for it and helping to streamline billing practices.
I come from Hospitality where customer first is key to the business model. Its why Kipsu exists! Helping our partners take care of their customers is amazing and we do that by taking care of our customers, keeping their needs forefront to our plan. I think as we see growth "never be satisfied" helps us to be dynamic and open to all the wonderful solutions we haven't yet discovered.
