What were you up to before joining Kipsu? 

Most recently I was managing restaurants in Minneapolis.  I took a brief brake to be a stay-at-home Dad before starting my new role at Kipsu.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work? 

I enjoy a long bike ride, traveling and fishing.  May family and I enjoy cooking meals and spending time outside!

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies? 

Being that Kipsu is still a relatively  small / start-up company I feel confident being able to thrive in this environment.  I knew I wanted to work somewhere with a positive company culture and the culture at Kipsu is genuine and welcoming.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

Everyone at Kipsu is supportive and easy to talk to.  I feel comfortable asking questions when they arise.  I also appreciate the physical work environment!

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I am excited to learn how to use applications Salesforce to optimize partner relationships.  Internally, I look forward to becoming more fluent with programs like Slack to improve my work performance and to get to know the team better.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value and why?

I strongly align with all of the core values of Kipsu.  I think the value that stands out to me the most is "Practice Stewardship".  I have always been passionate about making a positive impact with everyone that I work with and understanding that these actions tend to lead to future growth.

If you could pick any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

I would love to share a meal with Monte Don.  He is an english gardener who is incredibly knowledgable, well-spoken and direct.
