What were you up to before joining Kipsu?

Prior to Kipsu I was an account executive for a commercial furniture dealer in Minneapolis.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy fishing, auto racing, and watching my kids play sports.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

I knew someone that worked at Kipsu and after learning more about the culture and direction the company was headed it was apparent that it would be a great fit for me personally and professionally.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

Everyone was so helpful and nice to get you going and feel welcomed.  It was particularly challenging times with the pandemic however I was able to virtually connect with a lot of teammates which worked well.

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I think there are a lot of challenges both individually and team related.  Team related, we have a lot of exciting growth in the near future and managing everything related to that will be fun.  Additionally, the personal technical growth is everyday which makes every day unique and challenging.  I look forward to continual growth in my skills to better assist my team members and partners.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value and why?

I really like playing the long game.  Taking every day at a time through the lens of building something great.  It is refreshing to see decisions being made for the long term and it creates a strong foundation.

If you could pick any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

Well, if it was just for a dinner, I would probably like to meet my childhood sports hero Michael Jordan.  There is so much out there about him however to see him in person, more so than what I could learn from him, would be a very unique thing to experience.
