What were you up to before joining Kipsu?

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a degree in Marketing in May of 2018.  Since graduation, I worked in sales at two different companies.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love the outdoors. My favorite summer activities are skateboarding, golf, disc golf, hiking, and running.  In the winter, you will find me out on the slopes snowboarding.  I also enjoy cooking even though my current skills have LOTS of room for improvement.

What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?

The opportunities that you do not get at larger companies is mainly what drew me to join Kipsu.  Kipsu truly recognizes individual talent, and your ideas do not go unnoticed. Everyone is treated equal and with respect.

What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?

The Kipsu team is by far the most welcoming group of people out there. I received multiple welcome messages and LinkedIn requests during my first week, and I immediately felt like I was part of the team.

What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?

I'm looking forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone.  I am excited to learn something every day to grow personally and professionally.

What is your favorite Kipsu core value and why?

Go Beyond Together is my favorite Kipsu core value.  There are so many intelligent people from very diverse backgrounds at Kipsu, and there is something for everyone to teach and learn as a result.

If you could pick any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?

Gordon Ramsey.  As a novice cook, I watch a lot of his videos and shows, and I would love to learn one of his recipes in person. He would definitely chirp me for my lack of culinary skills, but that is all part of the experience.
