Prior to Kipsu, Jenae studied at Providence College in Rhode Island. Outside of work, you'll find her playing volleyball, bowling, working out, spending time with friends, and venturing into new vegan food spots! We asked Jenae to reflect on her time at Kipsu so far.
The culture and community. I appreciate Kipsu always sticking to its core values and creating an environment of inclusion and hard work. I feel as though everyone is working together towards a common goal, helping each other along the way.
Everyone is so friendly! I have never had so many people add me on LinkedIn and ask for casual times to chat then when I joined Kipsu. I loved it!
I am looking forward to new challenges and the opportunity to learn all I can at Kipsu. Being a smaller business, there are many chances to ask questions and learn about other departments and see how it all works. I am excited to start to get to know more about the different processes and see the work that gets people excited!
Go Beyond Together. There is nothing better than knowing you can lean on your team and that you're working for your team towards a common goal to be better individually and collectively. It creates such a fantastic community that you continually want to grow and watch it grow because you feel you are truly a part of the journey.
Michelle Obama. I would love to get to know her and how she, being a black woman who began in the shadow of her husband, came to become one of the most influential first ladies there was. Her confidence exudes out of her, and it's something I look up to and admire. I would love to know her secrets. Also, I would like to know her hair care routine.
