Kipsu is excited to welcome Kate Prostrollo to our Customer Partnerships Team as a Senior Market Development Representative! Prior to Kipsu, Kate worked in various sales roles—from dental to shipping. Outside of work, you'll find Kate hiking, camping, baking, playing rugby, and hanging out with her coolest kid, Alfie. We asked Kate about her first few weeks at Kipsu.
What drew you to Kipsu in contrast to other companies?
What drew me to Kipsu was that everyone is completely entrenched in the client experience. They are so eager to go above and beyond without question, and I love that energy and passion.
What were some things you noticed about the Kipsu team during your first week?
They were hilarious. Everyone was very welcoming and comfortable with each other and there was genuine excitement from people on every team when someone new started!
What challenges are you looking forward to tackling in your work at Kipsu?
Hospitality is in a completely new space after the pandemic and they are looking for unique solutions. Helping guide them toward better guest experiences and efficient staff practices will be an exciting challenge as travel grows!
What is your favorite Kipsu core value and why?
Practice Stewardship - Knowing that I have the ability to make an impact and help grow Kipsu is incredibly empowering. And I love how everyone is ready and willing to help get the job done!
If you could pick any person for a chat over a shared dinner, who would you pick and why?
Anthony Bourdain - he would pick the best hole in the wall taco truck, know where the chefs like to grab a beer after, and have the most incredible stories!
