Nick comes to Kipsu from Foodsby, where he led a small team within Support and Customer Success. Outside of work, you'll find him at the family cabin up north, running, biking, and being a Live Action Hank Hill. We asked Nick to reflect on his time at Kipsu so far.
I've always been drawn to smaller companies, as I feel like I can make a far bigger impact and learn more than I could at a large company/corporation. I've had experience in similar settings, and being a part of a fast growing, ever evolving company is something I love. Every interview I had in my hiring process was fun, informative, and kept me excited for the next steps.
I noticed, and very much appreciated, how genuinely willing everyone has been in regards to offering further help answering questions, training, and being a resource as I continue to learn and get up to speed.
I love finding out the "Why" behind things, so I am really looking forward to diving in to the data and helping our partners get the most out of Kipsu and drive success for them (and us!).
The one that resonates the most with me is "Think Customer First".
It's so important to understand what the goals of our partners are, to provide the best support and resources to help them be successful, go above and beyond expectations, and anticipate their needs. Without doing those things for our partners, we aren't here!
I've honestly never thought about my answer to this before. I would think I'd gravitate to someone from history who has seen it all - I love to listen to the stories that people have. But my biggest bucket list item in the sports realm is to see Leo Messi play in person, so a dinner with him would be amazing. He has been my favorite athlete for 10+ years and I'd love to hear his stories.
We're looking for motivated people to join our growing team in Minneapolis. See our careers page to view all open positions and submit an application.
